Device Connection

The device has no Bluetooth. Can I use the web setup guide and connect over Wi-Fi?

How can I tell whether a new device can be discovered over Bluetooth?

If the device screen shows the Wi-Fi status, Bluetooth has been reset. Wait 30 seconds, then search again.

A device is already connected to computer A. How do I reset Bluetooth so it can connect to computer B?

On a computer connected to the same network band, enter the device IP address in a browser. Open Device Information, then select Reset Device. The device will appear as disconnected on computer A. When the device screen shows WIFI, select Add Wi-Fi Device on computer B and complete the connection process. After computer B connects successfully, the device status on computer A will change from disconnected to connected.

How can TC002 connect to multiple computers?

1. Close the software currently connected to the device.
2. Restart the device.
3. Open Ulanzi Studio on computer B and select Add Wi-Fi Device.
4. Reopen Ulanzi Studio on computer A, which was previously connected to the device.
5. The device can now connect to both computers.

The device was online, but after a restart it briefly showed a yellow screen and then displayed IP address 192.168.100.1. What happened?

The network connection timed out. Restart the device again and it should return to normal. TC002 treats a connection attempt longer than 45 seconds as a timeout. Check the network environment if this happens repeatedly.

Why does the app show device A as disconnected even though the device is online?

1. Confirm that the computer and device A are connected to the same network.
2. Check whether Ulanzi Studio is open on another computer and has connected to device A.

The device was online but changed to 192.168.100.1 without any operation. Why?

A temporary network issue disconnected the device. It then tried to reconnect using the saved Wi-Fi credentials but reached the 45-second timeout. Restart the device, or run the network setup process again and re-enter the Wi-Fi name and password.

The device cannot pair with Wi-Fi for the first time, or it is paired but the app shows it as disconnected.

Make sure the computer and TC002 are paired and used on the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

The Wi-Fi drop-down list does not show any network names during initial setup. What should I do?

Enter the Wi-Fi network name manually.

The TC002 button feels loose and has noticeable play. Is this normal?

The large button uses a tilted, seesaw-like design that supports three directions of operation from one button. This design reduces surface gaps and gives the product a more integrated appearance, but it requires a small amount of button play. This structural trade-off does not affect normal operation.

How often do social-media and calendar data refresh?

After setup is complete, social-media data refreshes every five minutes and calendar data refreshes every three minutes.

What should I do if TC002 setup remains at 100% on Windows?

1. Completely quit the Ulanzi Studio app.
2. Open Windows Firewall and confirm that Ulanzi Studio is allowed to communicate over the network.
3. If Ulanzi Studio is not listed, select Allow another app and add the Ulanzi Studio program path manually.
4. Reopen the Ulanzi Studio app.

What should I do if TC002 setup remains at 100% on macOS?

1. Check whether the computer is running macOS 27.
2. If it is, download and install the Ulanzi Studio V3.2.9 test build.

Why does selecting the Wi-Fi page open a Bluetooth connection step instead of connecting directly over Wi-Fi?

TC002 first uses Bluetooth to discover the device and then configures the Wi-Fi connection. The computer therefore needs an installed and enabled Bluetooth driver.

Does the second-generation device support secondary development, and where is the open-source repository?

Can D200-series products control the second-generation pixel clock?

Yes. In the app, switch the device type to the D200 series. Find the Ulanzi TC002 plugin in the plugin list on the right side of the home page, drag it onto an empty key, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Usage

Where can new users find the complete guide to device connection and features?

Why does the order of follower counts change after switching languages or restarting the app?

If the device was on the top-level screen and Weibo was the active item, Weibo follower count moves to the first position after changing the system language or restarting the app. The remaining follower-count items keep their order and shift down by one position. Calendar and tool modules behave the same way.

Why are the software page and the device display temporarily out of sync after switching networks?

The device may show as connected before its data has synchronized. Wait about 30 seconds. You can also enter the device IP address in a browser and check whether the configured display functions match the device screen.

What is the port on the left side of TC002 used for?

The left-side port can charge the device and read data from a USB drive, allowing advanced users to extend the device. The bottom connector supports charging from behind the device, reducing visible cables and keeping the desktop tidy.

Why does TC002 have charging contacts and a base on the bottom?

The bottom charging contacts keep the device topped up while it is resting on the base, so it is ready whenever you pick it up. They also let you route the charging cable behind the device and keep it out of sight.

How do I use the scoreboard?

The TC002 interface has three levels:

1. Four dots on the far-right side of the screen indicate that you are on the first level.
2. Press the knob once to enter or leave the second level. Rotate the knob left or right to switch between applications on the same level.
3. The scoreboard, Pomodoro timer, stopwatch, and similar features are on the third level. Press and hold the knob for three seconds; after the beep, the third level opens.

Why can't TC002 retrieve some of my iCloud calendars?

The TC002 iCloud calendar integration currently retrieves information only from the main Calendar. It cannot retrieve the Work calendar or other calendars.

What should I do if the weather temperature, humidity, pressure, or AQI does not match local conditions?

1. If you configured an API key, compare the displayed values with OpenWeather.
2. If you did not configure an API key, compare the displayed values with QWeather.
