OpenWeather API Key

Get an API Key

Follow these steps to obtain an API key:

1. Open Create New Account and register an account.
2. After registration, OpenWeather will send an email to your address.
3. Find the API key provided by OpenWeather in that email.
4. Enter the API key in the plugin.

Note

• Enter city names in English. For example, use Beijing for Beijing weather and Seoul for Seoul weather.

Terms

• RH: Relative Humidity, from 0% to 100%.
• WS: Wind Speed, measured in m/s.

Error Codes

• EC401: Invalid API key. Check whether the API key was entered correctly.
• EC404: City not found. The city name may be misspelled or entered in a language other than English.
