What is Vibe Key offline mode?

Vibe Key offline mode means that after the current preset has been successfully synchronized to the device, Vibe Key can continue to execute the preset's shortcut configuration even after Ulanzi Studio is closed.

Which functions are supported offline?

Offline mode currently focuses on shortcut functions, including shortcut configurations assigned to the knob, K1, K2, and K3 in a preset.

When does offline mode take effect?

All three conditions below must be met:

1. Vibe Key has connected to Ulanzi Studio at least once.
2. The current preset has been successfully synchronized to the device.
3. The current preset contains shortcut functions that can run offline.

How does the device work after Ulanzi Studio is closed?

The device prioritizes the shortcut configuration in the currently synchronized preset. If the preset has no available shortcuts, it falls back to the fixed shortcut functions.

What is the active preset?

The active preset is the last preset that was selected and successfully synchronized to Vibe Key.

Do all plugin functions support offline mode?

No. Only shortcut functions are suitable for offline execution. Plugins that require the host computer to run in real time generally do not support offline mode.

Will a preset change take effect if it has not been synchronized?

No. Offline mode only uses the last configuration successfully synchronized to the device.

What happens if only K1 has a shortcut in the current preset?

K1 follows the preset. Other controls without configured shortcuts fall back to fixed shortcut functions or do nothing.

What happens if the current preset has no shortcut configuration?

The device falls back to fixed shortcut functions. If no fixed function is defined, it does nothing.

How can I confirm that offline mode is active?

After configuring shortcuts and synchronizing successfully, close Ulanzi Studio and test the corresponding keys. If they still trigger the shortcuts, offline mode is active.

Why do the keys not follow the preset after Ulanzi Studio is closed?

Common causes include:

• The current preset was not synchronized successfully.
• The current control is assigned a function other than a shortcut.
• No function is assigned to the current control.
• The device has fallen back to fixed shortcut functions.
